We are looking for a dynamic Electrical Engineer to join our team! The ideal candidate will be an experienced electrical engineer who is seeking an exciting product development opportunity.

The primary responsibility for this position is to support our ongoing development programs for both new and legacy products. The Electrical Engineer will be a critical team member working cross-functionally on programs developing new products, and in supporting legacy instrumentation in cost reduction, product design changes due to regulatory and environmental standard revisions, and customer driven product enhancements.

Job Responsibilities * FPGA Design: Architecture, Algorithms, VHDL code generation, VHDL simulation, Synthesis and Device Implementation & Constraints, System Integration and Test. * Design Low/Med complexity mix signal PCBs including Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) starting from System De-composition and completing through System Integration and Test * Perform design of Mixed Signal Technology circuits consisting of A/D, D/A, Processors, I/O, communication, microprocessors, and Programmable Logic (FPGA, CPLD) circuits. * Additional experience in the following areas: o Digital Signal Processing o Analog design o Tolerance analysis o Frequency domain analysis o Cad design entry (Orcad) o MatLab, Mathcad experience

* BS in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years OR Master’s degree with 2 years OR Doctoral degree with 0-2 years of directly relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience to perform at this level. * FPGA Design: Architecture, Algorithms, VHDL code generation, VHDL simulation, Synthesis and Device Implementation & Constraints, System Integration and Test experience required. * Very keen on technical details documentation * Design optimization * Excellent communicator and team player. * Demonstrated self-starter - efficient in charting the course, achieving the goals and proactive in pursuing subsequent tasks to completion on time * Regulated industry experience * Comfortable working in bio-hazard environments * Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to work independently and on cross-functional teams. * Ability to travel as needed.
