This role will serve as the Senior Financial Analyst supporting the Flow Business unit and the legal department. The individual in this position will lead all aspects of the forecasting and budgeting process for the respective departments. In addition, they will be providing financial analysis to the flow team including preparing financial models for investment opportunities
Coordinate the yearly expense budget and monthly forecast for the flow and LS legal department.
Analyze month end results and prepare reports including variance analysis, flow results letter, and units shipped report.
Prepare monthly accruals for unbilled services and reconcile associated accounts.
Provide the flow BU required financial information on customer/regional revenue splits, backlog, month to date bookings/revenue status, Average Net Selling Prices, etc.
Prepare and present reporting package for review at the monthly flow ops business meeting.
Supervise CDx contract status and coordinate billing as meet achievements. Prepare critical metric bowler for all recently launched new products.
Support the preparation of the Product Line Financial business plan for new development projects in the flow business unit. Support the integration of any new flow acquisitions as they come up.
Provide General finance support such as invoice coding, researching profitability on products, and supporting the preparation of Capital Asset Requisition request.
Limited travel may be required (less than 5%)
B.S. in Accounting, Finance or similar field required; MBA, CMA or CPA a plus.
5+ years of experience in finance and accounting with emphasis on budgeting, forecasting, planning, financial analysis and modeling.
Excellent communication (both oral and written), presentation and interpersonal skills needed for cross-functional scope of role.
Strong to advanced MS Excel skills (financial modeling, pivot tables etc.) as well as proficiency with other Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint) required.
Working knowledge of Oracle ERP and Oracle Business Intelligence a plus.
