The Technician Reagent Manufacturing for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for the manufacturing and process blood of antibodies.

This position is part of the Cellular Production department and will be in Hialeah, Fl. Beckman Coulter Diagnostics strives for moving patient healthcare forward

You will be a part of the Diagnostics Miami Reagents Manufacturing and report to the Site Leader responsible for Leading the Reagents Diagnostics Manufacturing Operations. In this role, you will have the opportunity to

  • Manufacturing of the Final pooling products in accordance to assigned weekly schedule.

  • Manufacture Final Pool daily based on prioritization and scheduling wheel.

  • Responsible for the daily blood process sanitization for the following day.

  • Provide samples to the testing lab to ensure products meet the specification.

  • Execute Material Withdraw Requests and completing the appropriate documentation.

  • Blood Manufacturing to produce Reagents, Controls, and Calibrators for the Diagnostics product line. Cleanroom environment glassware handling.

  • Perform documentation such as batch record closeout, review, and ATC.

  • Opportunity to be involve in process improvement using DBS tools.

The essential requirements of the job include

  • Associates degree in Science or related field with at least 1 year of experience

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds with or without assistance, stand 6 to 7 hours a day and move materials in and out of a 2 to 8 degrees refrigerator 2 to 3 times a day.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Work Overtime when needed.

  • Proficient in Excel is a MUST, Microsoft Word, and general Microsoft software.

  • Very strong ability to utilize analytical thinking and to multitask effectively. Detail-oriented.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Bachelor’s in science or related field is preferred

  • Experience working in an FDA regulated environment laboratory.

  • Prior experience in blood handling/ Manufacturing
