Regional Service Manager North UK (d/f/m)

Do you share a passion for managing and leading a team of Field Service Engineers in medical devices domain? Become the leader of this team within a position mixing day to day management, business development, continuous improvement on processes, productivity and profitability.

Then come and join our fantastic team in remote from UK (preference in the North) with home office flexibility and 25% of travels!


  • Negotiate contracts and 3rd party service providers.

  • Actively manage service key accounts and support Sales Teams at critical or key account customers in order to ensure first class customer happiness.

  • Ensure customer complaints are dealt within agreed time scales

  • Support Tender business as the need arises.

  • Raise sophisticated tenders to EU Managers

  • Consistently monitor workload, team performance and productivity

  • Ensure the continuous development of the team by carrying out training and mentorship

  • Manage Performance Improvement plans, working with the team on process improvements using lean techniques such as 5’s.


  • You will be Degree qualified, in Electro-mechanical or Electrical Engineering or have equivalent work experience / military training

  • You have an experience in an equivalent role as manager with the ability to build and drive effective team working

  • You have an experience as Field Service Manager (PNL, business development, planned revenue, profitability targets…) in a major medical or life science manufacturer or provider

  • You have excellent communication skills, both with your team and with the customers

  • You have leadership skills to have overall responsibility for the success, growth and development of your team
