You will be a part of the Reagent R&D Biostatistics Team and report to the Senior Manager of Biostatistics responsible for statistical analysis and data management for in-vitro diagnostics (IVD) research and development. In this role, you will have the following opportunities, but are not limited to:

  • Support the development and validation of automated data analysis reporting software to evaluate the performance of new and existing products.

  • Train to become the non-product software validation subject matter expert within the biostatistics team.

  • Provide data analysis support to biostatisticians and scientists throughout the business including in R&D and operations.

  • Follow industry standards and global procedures to execute and continuously improve our team’s approach to data analysis software validation within the regulated industry.

  • Software troubleshooting for both existing applications and those under-development.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in field with 2+ years of experience or Master’s degree.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Data analysis or database management software experience (e.g. SQL or others).

  • Some programming and/or MS Excel experience

  • Willingness and ability to learn new data analysis & management techniques and software applications.

It would be a plus if you also possess:

  • Non-product software validation experience in a regulated industry environment.

  • Experience with a common programming language (e.g. C#, JAVA, Python, PERL, Ruby, etc.) and/or in-depth software troubleshooting experience.

  • Statistical software experience (e.g. R, JMP, Minitab, or others).
