We are looking for a Field Service Engineer (FSE) to join our team of dedicated field service professionals. The FSE provides frontline support by resolving customers' problems and issues through technical expertise and troubleshooting and will contribute to the growth of the Service organization by identifying new value-add opportunities.
Serve as lead to assigned customers - complete troubleshooting, installation, validation, maintenance, and service repair needs on designated equipment
Maintain technical proficiency of our BioResearch and Imaging.
Identify business opportunities (PM’s, new Service Plan leads, new system leads) that help us continue to deliver double-digit growth
Focus on customer needs and satisfaction, while building and fostering positive and professional relationships with both external and internal customers
Promote a consistently positive image of the service organization, our values, and the value of our products and services.
Keep up to date on administrative responsibilities such completing work orders, returning parts, following up with customers, etc.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Biology, or related field is preferable. We will consider appropriate experience in the industry and/or previous successful field service experience.
Prefer a minimum of 1-3 years of experience with scientific research instruments, scientific background, or similar technical profession.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications. Ability to quickly learn and master additional software applications desired
Up to 50% travel or more
Comply with vendor credentialing requirements including but not limited to drug testing
Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs. Frequent bending, squatting, and standing are required
Maintain a Valid driver’s license that meets Molecular Device’s safe driver standards
