The Quality Assurance Engineer I aligned within the Instrument Manufacturing Quality area focuses on team quality assurance supporting a medical device manufacturing line. This individual is a cross-functional partner ensuring we win on our key process indicators, adhering to our quality system regulations, and moving the business forward in efforts to advance healthcare for every person.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Provide Quality Assurance Support for Instrument manufacturing of medical devices.

  • Work with cross-functional team to identify, contain and disposition non-conforming product.

  • Assist with Manufacturing work instruction updates and implementation.

  • Ensure compliance to design change procedures, corporate policies and global regulations (FDA QSR, ISO, etc.) and make decisions/provide guidance to prevent a deviation or non-conformance.

  • Work on projects and initiatives to reduce defects on the manufacturing floor.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • BS degree in Engineering

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Experience in quality or manufacturing

  • Experience in the medical device or similar industry
