Job Title: Social Media Channel Manager
Location: USA, Remote
The Social Media Channel Manager is responsible for the build, growth, and management of IDT’s online communities. This role will collaborate with multiple internal teams and industry key opinion leaders to drive awareness of the IDT brand and engage consumer audiences.
Contribute to the build and implementation of online communities to align with marketing goals and objectives.
Develop strategies to scale online communities and connect with new audiences and drive traffic to website/events/content or webinars. Create clear call to action
Assist in strategy development and post analysis of social and brand campaigns.
Benchmark competitors and plan digital campaign strategies to position IDT as a leader in the genomic space.
Moderate and monitor online conversations to connect with IDT consumers and advocate accordingly.
Take control of the IDT online voice to boost brand awareness, reputation, and customer loyalty.
Identify and analyze data to monitor performance of social media and online communities.
Follow Standard work in Kapost, Sprout Social & Sitefinity.
Maintain the IDT brand consistently across all deliverables.
Identify process improvement opportunities and reports those to Director, Digital Marketing.
Demonstrates behavior consistent with the Integrated DNA Technologies Core Values.
Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Journalism, or Life Sciences required
Minimum of two years of marketing, communications, advertising, or sales experience required (preferably within a life sciences organization); five years preferred
Demonstrated experience managing online communities and social media channels for a business or brand required
Other Job Qualifications:
Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office required
Understanding of screen delivered content production and processes required
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail required
Ability to work in a fast paced, highly collaborative environment required
Life sciences experience preferred
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize and work well under deadlines and time constraints
Ability to operate independently, lead cross-functional teams, manage deliverables and act with good business judgment
Ability to develop and apply creative/innovative solutions to marketing problems and initiatives
Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders from all functions and act with good business judgment
Adaptability to performing a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure
Ability to maintain both a high standard of courtesy and cooperation in dealing with co-workers
