Danaher Corporation Service Inside Sales & Support Coordinator in Mississauga, Ontario

.ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate Field Service Calls, Preventative Maintenance visits, and Installations.

  • Order Replacement Parts and assign Work Orders to Field Service Engineers.

  • Generate RMAs for the return of instruments and defective materials to the warehouse.

  • Place outbound follow-up calls to customer who have been quoted for billable services.

  • Identify opportunities for combining open Work Orders to maximize efficiency of Field Service Engineers.

  • Update records accordingly

  • Investigate transactions processed incorrectly to determine root cause and implement corrective/preventive action.

  • Generate Quotes and process Purchase Orders for Billable Services.

  • Establish need, identify key contacts and decision-makers, provide offerings based on customer needs and estimate budgetary resources available.

  • Target new opportunities and follow up on leads within the Canadian Installed base.

  • Conduct outbound and telephone prospecting-based customers coming out of warranty or renewal.

  • Contact customers for purposes of data clean-up, contact discovery, event enrollment, reminder callas and other key activities.

  • Organization and prioritization of sales lead information into the CRM.

  • Manage and close sales according to revenue targets as communicated by management.

  • Proactively quote customers in.

  • Analyze trends and buying patterns and communicates recommendations appropriately to management team.

  • Work closely with marketing and sales to ensure smooth and timely flow of information.

  • Maintain and increase technical product and application knowledge enabling you to provide prospective customers with compelling, accurate and concise information about our products and prices over the telephone.

  • Additional duties as required

TRAINING RESPONSIBILITIES: (REQUIRED)

• Complete all assigned and required training satisfactorily and on time.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education or Experience:

  • High school degree or equivalent experience with 2-4 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a fast-paced Customer Service, Order Management, or Administrative role.

  • Must enjoy spending 90% of his/her time on the phone and embraces a creative challenge

  • Previous diagnostics industry sales experience desired

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Science or with work experience in Biotechnology, Medical Device Industry or Medical Technology (or equivalent)

Other:

  • Language: Bilingual – English Primarily (French as secondary language)

Knowledge and skills:

  • Able to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced team environment.

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Able to function independently with minimal supervision.

  • Able to function under pressure and meet regular deadlines.

  • MS Excel and MS Word experience is preferred.

  • SAP or SFDC experience desirable.
