POSITION SUMMARY The Buyer/Planner role requires the management of various Supply chain activities in support of order fulfillment, inventory planning, supplier management and continuous improvement initiatives. The Buyer/Planner drives the decision-making process to balance lowest possible inventory while delivering market competitive delivery times to customers. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to) • QDIP, visual management Kanban board • Inventory by active Kanban; nonconforming materials movements and vendor returns; Scrap processing for change orders and Nonconforming materials; credit card reconciliation • Supply planning; Kanban sizing; maintenance of Kanban and Kanban calculator data; review of material requirements; • Purchase 3rd party materials; maintain supplier information and purchasing info records; create suppliers in SAP, manage process changes in compliance with ISO9000 standards; R&D and general facilities procurement. • Inventory, Excess & Obsolete; Supplier Non-Conforming reporting in SAP • Monthly Forecast creation; Actual Reporting; alignment with yearly inventory strategy and goals • Identify and lead projects • Supports customer service, technical service, R&D, shipping and logistics

Qualification
Required Experience

• High School Diploma/GED required • 3 years’ experience • Reporting & Analysis • Demand and Supply Planning • Inventory Forecasting Preferred Experience

• BA/BS Degree preferred
