Designs electrical systems and apparatus, such as electric motors, machinery controls, lighting and wiring. Evaluates electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of electricity and materials. Includes Radio Frequency Engineering and Optical Engineering roles.
Your key responsibilities will include, and not limited to:
Assist the Production team with component availability and obsolescence issues, with the diagnosis of manufacturing issues and helping maintain and design production test jigs.
Provide the Global Support team with the required assistance in the diagnosis of electronics related field issues.
Deliver robust and high-quality electronic solutions (compliant with all applicable regulatory requirements) in a highly regulated and process-oriented work environment.
Contribute to establishment and continuous improvement of electronics systems processes and procedures to support business needs.
Provide test engineers with support in the development of electronics related test scope and coverage.
Contribute to electronic design for excellence (DfX) efforts.
To be successful in this opportunity, a prior experience in the following criteria would be required:
Degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
Experience in analogue and/or digital design.
Some exposure to a process driven, highly regulated, design, development, and manufacturing environment.
Some exposure to root cause/failure analysis and mitigation, to board level fault detection.
Familiar with electronic measurement tools (oscilloscope, multimeter, etc.).
Experience in creating and interpreting technical documentation.
Experience in selection and utilization of various electronic components, sensors, and actuators.
Electronics experience ranging from power supplies to microcontroller based embedded systems.
Experience in reliability engineering, signal and power integrity principles, EMC, and safety.
Exposure to electronic CAD tools (Altium preferred) for both schematic capture and lay-out design.
Involvement in FMEA, hazards and risk analysis activities.
Positive, self-motivated disposition and personal accountability
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Interest in Histology
