Danaher Corporation Application Specialist -Flow Sorter in Mumbai, India

Key Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for providing instrument (Flow cytometry and sorter) and application training to Beckman coulter customers on site as per the requirement.

  • To support the Sales Team in identifying market opportunities and assisting to actualize market potential.

  • Positioning of products and technology through presentations, product demonstrations, workshops, seminars etc. in alignment with company values, business objectives and marketing strategy.


Application and Training Support

  • Provide Instrument and Applications training on Beckman coulter cell sorter & cell analysis range of products to ensure a high level of end-user satisfaction.

  • To attend and timely resolve customer queries telephonically and over mails and related applications and if necessary planned visits to customers.

  • Inclined to learn and improve technical knowledge and skills on existing and new Beckman coulter products.

  • Plan and organize training programs for Sales teams and application team to raise and strengthen the technical bar and increase capability of product knowledge.

Marketing and Sales support

  • Maintain active dialogue and interactions with key opinion leadership network in flow cytometry, immunology and cell biology.

  • Understanding requirements of customer’s experiment and provide appropriate technical and product solutions through discussions, presentations and/or product/application demonstrations to positively impact sales and increase productivity.

  • Co-ordinate / support / lead awareness activities such as seminars, conferences, workshops etc in alignment with marketing team.

Monitor and report

  • Prepare and provide a monthly report to supervisor on the training and marketing activities done. Ensure timely submission training and evaluation reports.

  • Tracking of customer feedback on product quality and escalating product issues to appropriate authority within the organization

  • Work in coordination with sales, service and other application associates towards achieving the business objectives.

  • Support a culture of constructive feedback and continuous improvement within the organisation.

Desirable knowledge and skills

  • Previous experience and demonstrated competence in flow cytometry and sorter related applications (essential)

  • Fluency in written and oral English
