Ensure seamless supply of material from different manufacturing facilities and external suppliers across globe for order fulfillment
Eliminate supply chain failures by identifying potential shortages, resolving problems and communicating directly with suppliers and the production floor.
Implemented supply chain best practices in inventory management to maintain appropriate inventory levels increasing on time deliveries per customer demand.
Create and implement material requirement plan (MRP) aligning with demand and forecast data to track inventory consumption and forecast procurement requirements.
Conduct searches for inventory availability, processed returns, and documented all transactions to ensure consistently accurate inventory levels.
Plan and maintain optimum inventory levels through forecasting, aircraft coverage analysis and inventory management techniques.
Manage inventory levels in accordance with company objectives and support both inventory target and customer demand in a fast-paced multinational environment.
Manage Purchase Orders through multiple landscape environments and Multiple Manufacturing facilities and with external suppliers across regions.
Collaborate with logistics function for daily shipments including expedited loads and to decide on air or ocean mode.
Manage material conversions to minimize obsolescence, reduce impact to customer service, and comply with regulatory requirements.
Monitor backlogs of products, provide scheduling alternatives and communicate pro-actively upcoming delivery issues to Customer Service Reps.
Diversified material planning experience with the knowledge of international purchasing, planning and export/import.
Perform all material planning activities in both Make to Order and make to Stock environment.
Manage supplier delivery issues, provide intelligent analysis and recommendations to management for material handling and continuous improvement initiatives.
