Job Title: Field Marketing Specialist

Purpose of the position:

The Field Marketing Specialist will be a hybrid role and the person will be responsible for executing both Field Marketing & Digital Marketing activities to accelerate incremental revenue growth for Leica Microsystems, India. Through digital and online techniques and analysis, the field marketing Specialist pursues specific goals in lead generation, lead qualification, communication, brand building and conversion.

He/she will generate demand through the paid channel primarily social media to drive Leads across various platforms and also engagement in field events. The candidate will be based in Mumbai and reports to the Marketing Head/Manager, India and closely work with Divisional stakeholders, Sales, Service, Marketing and Customer Care Team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise between India commercial and Global Marketing teams on planning, executing and tracking Field events and social media campaigns to align with business goals and regional strategy

  • Establish LMS India digital presence to boost demand generation and brand awareness utilizing Field events/ congress/ workshop/ CME’s/ Product launch/ advertisements/ exhibition/webinars/virtual events

  • Liaise with the vendors, suppliers & logistics for seamless execution of field events, content creation, branding activities & advertisements, KOL management, customer engagement activities like Video/written testimonies.

  • Create, optimize and execute Paid advertisement campaigns such as FB, Twitter & LinkedIn Ad manger, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, YouTube advertisements, etc. as per the focus products and market segments

  • Define, monitor, analyze and improve campaign KPIs to contribute annual funnel & order generation targets for LMS India

  • Create & maintain annual campaign/media plan, report campaign results and optimization recommendations to stakeholders

  • Contribute to the Lead management process by following Lead qualification process, uploading leads in CRM, processing the leads in CRM, leads follow up, tracking & analysis in SFDC

  • Candidate should have experience in managing paid social media platform especially FB, twitter & LinkedIn, experience in managing KOL, customer engagement activities & efficiently managing the field events independently.

Our Expectations

  • Expert knowledge and experience of handling field events, product launch, workshops, congresses & exhibitions, drive webinars/virtual events with a focus on lead generation

  • Extensive knowledge and experience with social media advertisements including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc. in a revenue generation role

  • Proven track record of growing leads and sales through online & offline marketing

  • Basic understanding of marketing concepts and campaign management

  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • Exposure to CRM tools such as SalesForce Dot Com (SFDC) is a plus

  • Exposure to Social media marketing

  • Current certification in social media marketing is a plus

  • Experience in driving both, lead gen and marketing automation integration for lead nurturing

  • Graduate in Arts/Science/Engineering, MBA is a plus

  • A degree/diploma in digital marketing is an advantage

  • At least 3-4 years experience in managing field events, driving workshops, CME’s, KOL engagement.
