Job Title: Marketing Head

Purpose of the position:

Oversee the development of company’s marketing programs for the product lines. Activities may also include product advertising/promotion, sales support, planning, developing and implementing multiple channel programs (Field events and online Digital campaigns) and directing the development of company marketing requirements for the product lines. Responsible for the direction and management of all business development operations, including market competitiveness, market share, upcoming trends, competitor activity, new product launch, long term strategy. Drive the company’s achievement of its customer acquisition and revenue goals.

Functions:Specific functions in the company that are exclusively linked to the position and are based on local law requirements.Your Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning

Contribute to the development and execution of strategic and tactical marketing plans to drive rapid India sales growth. Work with cross-functional teams and the India’s sales force to ensure marketing programs and events meet the needs of both internal and external customersDevelop local marketing initiatives that maximize sales force effectiveness and overall penetration of product line. Assist in the development and execution of promotional plans, clinical marketing presentations, tradeshow strategy, peer-to-peer programs, and general sales force support. Monitor costs of projects and internal and external indicators by reviewing reports and newsletters, reading organizational literature, meeting with peers and reading departmental reports. Independently determine and develop approaches to solutions, specifically in the area of upstream and online marketing. Ensure compliance to all FDA Quality & Compliance regulations (As applicable to the job function) and the MAPPS process. Attend all required Quality & Compliance training at the specified interval. Able to promptly report any non-compliance issues to appropriate administrator, including the Compliance Hotline

Leadership

People Leadership of multiple employees and several teams including the direct management of the Marketing team. Total of 3 associates report into this position. Provide knowledge, advice, direction and feedback on daily basis. Act as a mentor to direct reports. Performance Management of individuals including assisting with incident investigations that include Marketing employees, reviews and termination of employment contracts. Conduct annual Performance Reviews, Bonus Plan development and reviews. Talent Management of up and coming individuals and succession planning. Build and maintain an effective Leadership Team. For newly inducted employees conduct monthly Probation Reviews. Be a role model for company culture.

Business Development

Oversee Marketing business development, identify new market opportunities,drive growth, determining the optimal expense (cost per lead) while executing lead programs.Manage overall Marketing process, set appropriate metrics for sales channel management.Develop SFDC access policies, updated information online, common branding tools aligned with global guidelines, brand ownership with view of maximizing recall value (including standardization of email signatures for all India associates of Leica). Manager overall Marketing teams to drive performance and results utilizing the maximum leverage of SFDC as CRM tool.

Commercial Operations

Liaise with the Commercial Operations BU and consult on Corporate Partnerships, Marketing Effectiveness and Training. Collaboration with Operations Division and Finance, aim for accuracy of inventory planning of marketing material and forecasting and general internal warehousing process compliance by marketing team members.

Our Expectations

  • MBA in Marketing

  • Job experience of 10 to 12 years in Capital Equipment sector with exposure to sales for minimum period of 2 years

  • Languages : English, Hindi

  • Location – Mumbai

  • Well versed with tools like SFDC, customer journey mapping, leveraging SEO and PPC, driving LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Facebook or other social media based campaigns with social networking and selling skills.
