The Regional IT Site Lead is a critical role operating within a complex business environment with diverse technical and business needs in a single location. The Regional IT Lead is a critical IT and business role which supports multiple operating companies within or across a specific region. Support requirements can include Desktop Management, infrastructure installations, conference room/collaboration management and interfacing with building and internal facility teams. The Regional IT Site Lead will collaborate with OpCo Country Managers to understand growth projections and participate in projects related to real estate and other expansion efforts which are operating company specific. The role is enabled to support within specific IT guidelines and can facilitate support needs on a case by case basis across OpCos in coordination with OpCo IT. The role is part of a community of Regional IT Leads who are globally distributed and share leading practices around IT infrastructure and site management. The role acts as an extension of the Danaher Infrastructure organization which includes Solutions Architecture and the Global IT Operations group. Core Responsibilities - Act as an advocate for regional operating companies providing OpCo strategy support, project management and variable labor management - Advocate and remain accountable as the point of contact for regional OpCo leadership’s IT support needs - Act in a Business Relationship Manager (BRM) capacity to understand OpCo specific needs including participation in monthly or quarterly meetings - Report out on IT related needs specific to the region including maintenance of technology roadmaps and expansion efforts specific to the region and OpCo - Familiarity with ITSM concepts and can communicate/participate with a global community of IT professionals around centralized IT management - Ability to provide desktop support to local users and act as an interface for OpCos and Danaher corporate IT for end user support including local and global projects - Admin access to manage all locally installed servers (physical and VM) for troubleshooting, network connectivity, availability (including access to monitoring tools). - Coordination with Danaher and OpCo IT technical support groups to assist with end user and site-based technologies which require ongoing support and maintenance - Ability to access existing monitoring tools for all locally installed infrastructure present at the site. This can include firewalls, wireless access points, servers, switches and telephony equipment - Inventory management of equipment related to systems in use on site. This can include computer equipment, cables, monitors, mobile phones and desk phones - Access to local IT related invoices for continuous review and payment. This can include local SMARTnet contracts, mobility, network, printing, cooling and heating and IP phone system support - Ability to work with local suppliers including contract review, bid process management in the spirit of optimizing service agreements - Coordinate with regional and global IT resources (associates and contractors) for IT support across regional locations - Occasional requirement to support the site after normal business hours as necessary Additional Responsibilities: - Access to local security system and systems which grants access to the facility (case by case basis) - Cultural sensitivity - expectation for IT to provide support for ALL aspects of IT at all levels of the organization. - Facilitation of support calls after hours with OpCos within the location and regional offices. - Collaboration support around conference rooms and hoteling space management
