About This Role

Key responsibilities for this role includes lead qualification, nurturing, and management through tele-calling, marketing automation tools and CRM tools such as SFDC. The role will also entail customer database management (for segmentation and targeted initiatives), content creation, digital customer outreach/engagement, offline marketing activities and data analysis in line with marketing strategy of SCIEX.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead qualification and management – Own entire lead flow management, qualification, queue routing and troubleshooting process, to generate high quality leads for sales team. Tele-qualification of prospects who interact with SCIEX either through digital or offline channels of communication. Active involvement in initiatives to improve lead quality and marketing driven funnel creation as well as working with sales team to ensure lead closure and opportunity creation.

  • Customer database management – Maintain updated database of contacts in Eloqua and SFDC relevant through cleaning and enrichment of information. Enhance market visibility by adding contacts with key information and segmentation using online tools and databases, work with cross-functional teams to conduct specific market vertical or geography-based projects to map new and existing accounts.

  • Digital Marketing Initiatives – Lead and support the planning and execution of digital marketing initiatives in SEO, PPC, and Email marketing. Sets targets, monitors important metrics, and sets up mechanisms to measure multiple campaigns across multiple online channels.

  • Customer outreach – Design and implement innovative and immersive customer experience journey with sustained engagement via customized, targeted digital outreach. Create series of live and recorded webinars, symposia, panel discussions, publications, whitepapers etc. by working with cross-functional teams in India and Europe. Manage front and back-end operations with relevant approvals for successful curation of content and customer journey

  • Event Participation – Responsibility for end-to-end planning, execution & reporting for customer facing events. Work with sales, finance and external vendors to ensure streamlined execution of activities.

  • Reporting and data analysis – Undertake data analysis using excel and other analytical tools to create customized reports while ensuring data accuracy and completeness for continuous process improvement across all key performance indicators. Pro-active identification of gaps and consequent call to action by crafting countermeasures.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy/chemistry/life sciences/biotechnology or related field. Post-graduate in Marketing/Management is desirable

  • 1-3 years of work experience in marketing for pharmaceutical/biotech/healthcare industry with hands-on exposure to digital marketing

  • Demonstrated ability in planning, coordination, execution and metrics-based analysis of multi-faceted marketing programs

  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral), ability to work with cross-functional teams and influence through collaboration

  • Proficiency in MS-Office and above average working knowledge of MS-Excel

  • Working knowledge of standard database sources – Eloqua, SFDC, PowerBi – will be beneficial

  • Knowledge of LC/MS/MS systems will be an advantage

  • Exposure to a B2B selling environment will be an added advantage

  • Travel required 20%
