INDIA (Customer Experience Centre) Software & Application Specialist -

Responsibilities

  • Resolving internal and external customer questions and problems that are submitted via live telephone or email systems. By either telephone, email, Live Chat, WebEx or onsite visits.

  • Maintaining a good knowledge and understanding of SCIEX products, applications and customers. This will include all hardware, software, applications and customer specific areas inc LIMS and reporting.

  • Maintaining the application support databases (SFDC) and ensuring compliance with all regulatory systems and requirements (Master Control).

  • Working with the other members of the team on the implementation and sustainment of existing and new standard work and processes. Supporting the key KPI's for team in EMEA and globally.

Experience

  • Experience in working in industry with relevant analytical LC-MSMS experience or other relevant customer experience.

  • Working with low hazard chemicals and biological material up to and including CL2 level; automated instrumentation and computer equipment.

  • Application knowledge in the tools utilized in SCIEX instrument and analysis software.

  • General instrument and software validation knowledge including GLP, GxP, and FDA 21 CFR 11 guidelines.

  • Familiarity with general networking and IT standards including LAN/WAN/SAN and TCP/IP.

  • Familiarity with data management standards including data archival, data restoration.

  • Familiarity with the Windows configuration.

Additional Requirements:

  • Expert knowledge of troubleshooting and problem-solving procedures

  • Expert communication skills both written and verbal

  • Works independently and as part of team

  • Drives commercialization of SCIEX products

  • Takes leadership role in driving and improving regional performance and proficiencies.

  • Travels 15-20% of the time.

  • Participation in PSPs & Kaizens as requested

  • Other additional duties assigned from time to time.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • MSc/BE/Diploma in Electronics or Instrumentation; Specialization in Analytical Instrumentation

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Lifesciences or related industry

  • Experience related to instruments like Mass Spec, HPLC, GC, LCMS etc

  • Proficiency in MS-Office

  • Familiarity with general networking and IT standards including LAN/WAN/SAN and TCP/IP.
