The Bioprocess Account Manager (d/f/m) is pivotal in driving customer success in alignment with Cytiva's strategy. You will own and manage the overall customer relationship across your accounts, serving as the primary contact between the company and its customers. Your role involves growing the business by understanding the market, being familiar with customer needs, and having in-depth knowledge of our product portfolio.
This position is a temporary role due to parental leave, lasting until April 2026. The role reports to the Bioprocess Territory Manager for Central South and is part of the Bioprocess Sales DACH team. It offers the flexibility of being fully remote.
What you will do:
Understand and map the structure of customer contacts within selected accounts, forming strong business relationships by regular customer field visits to understand the customer's business issues and challenges. Actively position Cytiva as a trusted partner with respect to the company´s vision
Take personal responsibility of your budget by driving Cytiva's commercial positioning. Focus on actively finding and developing new business opportunities to accelerate growth
Engage sales specialists in both the design and execution of account business plans and to undertake a key role in driving effective local team work within a complex matrix sales environment
Actively support Business development and Marketing initiatives in the field with aim of improving market share in the allocated accounts
Accurately forecast sales and growth opportunities within designated territory, using sales tools and applications
Who you are:
Bachelor's Degree in Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Multiple years of sales experience with a proven track record of success in a Life Science environment
In-depth understanding of bioprocess customer needs and business drivers, utilizing this knowledge to develop effective account plans and strategies
Self-motivated and able to manage time efficiently, organize, and prioritize workload effectively
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
Willingness to travel – approximately 70% within the territory (Bavaria and Southern Germany)
A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
