The Electrical Engineer (Firmware Developer) for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for the development of firmware and tools for laboratory automation products.
This position is part of the R&D organization located in Munich and will be hybrid. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Develop firmware and tools for laboratory automation products (ARM and PIC microcontroller, FPGAs)
Take responsibility for Hardware/Firmware integration, debugging and test
Implement and test of prototypes
Analyse errors of complex systems during design phase and in production
Ensure accurate documentation of development and test results
The essential requirements of the job include:
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline with relevant experience
Knowledge and practical experience with hardware-oriented software development (C and preferably also VHDL) and circuit design
Careful and independent work style with a high sense of responsibility
Teamwork, resilience, communicative behavior
Ability to communicate in English and German, both written and verbal
