We currently offer the following position in Germany which will be remote .

Service Manager West Germany and Switzerland (d/f/m)

You will lead a team of highly motivated Field Service Engineers, making sure they can excel in their role and achieve the best results for and at our customers.

You take ownership of the operational processes and come with a high customer service level mindset, which you apply in all situations and motivated to be the people leader that makes it the best place to work for your team

You will directly report to the Service Manager Central Europe.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be Accountable for leadership of direct reports to include ongoing direction, coaching, and development.

  • Drive business results and manage customer relationships in South-West Germany and Switzerland.

  • Take accountability for the P&L within South-West Germany and Switzerland.

  • Own the growth plan, execution and the resulted profitability.

  • Develop strong customer relationships and serve as the interface between the customer and all internal Leica Microsystems teams and organizations.

  • Lead service execution, always making sure to continuously exceed customer expectations.

  • Promote a safe working environment and ensure Environment, Health & Safety compliance.

  • Drive change initiatives as required to improve efficiencies and execute on business commitments.

  • Own operational processes (installations, preventive and corrective jobs completion).

  • Structure the countries and region to become best in class in regard to customers satisfaction, associates’ engagement, growth and profitability.

  • Identify and lead initiatives to continuously improve the Service Business.

  • Promote and motivate direct reports and teams to contribute to continuously improving our service delivery, execution and commercialization.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Solid experience in managing customer relationships.

  • Proven experience as people leader.

  • Strong exposure to change management, conflict resolution and structures set-up.

  • Aftermarket service experience in the Healthcare, Life Science, Industrial or IT markets is an advantage.

  • Great communication skills and de-escalation ability.

  • High customer orientation, people and business leadership skills and continuous- improvement mindset.

  • Very good German and English language skills (in spoken and written).
