Danaher Corporation Global Access, Connectivity Solutions Manager in Nairobi, Kenya
The Global Access, Connectivity Solutions Manager is the link with external stakeholders at the regional level, maintains key relation with internal stakeholders (Global marketing/Product development, Customer Care, Regional commercial teams) and ensure Cepheid’s connectivity strategy fits in correctly.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Advises/Update the Regional Commercial teams as well as Regional/Global Marketing whenever needed
Collaborates with the regional Customer Care, Connectivity team and Service Managers on connectivity solution deployment and strategies for individual countries from customer VOC.
Develops and maintains a working understanding of the Global e-Health environment as well as the connectivity challenge seen in Africa.
Maintains a strong understanding of the different ecosystems in collaboration with the Global Access Directors in charge of Systems, and the regional Global Access Directors.
Investigate at local level the compliance and regulations barriers linked to connectivity
Identify the current and foreseen issues from countries and implementers and propose tactical solutions
Establishes and maintains a broad network of contacts within relevant stakeholders and policy makers
Competition horizon scanning – identifies threats or opportunities
Assists in development and execution of product strategy and product launches
Ensures team efficacity by communicating in a timely manner to Global Access and Global/Regional marketing/commercial teams all pertinent information received at conferences or meetings with stakeholders
TRAINING RESPONSIBILITIES: (REQUIRED)
Complete all assigned and required training satisfactorily and on time
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education or Experience (in years):
Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of related work experience OR
Master’s degree in field with 6+ years of related work experience OR
Doctoral degree in field with 3+ years of work experience.
Knowledge and skills:
Working knowledge of the healthcare information technology landscape, clinical workflows and laboratory testing interoperability
Demonstrated knowledge of process improvement and laboratory optimization
Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7, ASTM, FHIR, POCT01A, LOINC, SNOMED
Experience with database administration with emphasis in emerging technologies
Deep Knowledge on telecommunication and engineering industry
Broad understanding of international information security standards and patient confidentiality in Healthcare
Experience with networking protocols and data encryption standards
Ability to interface at a highly technical level with assurance and confidence
Highly computer literate
Very good presentation skills
Very strong networking skills
Analytical mind-set
Good insight into compliance risks and their avoidance
Other:
Team player
Experience in Global Health is a plus
Language: English fluency, French desirable, Additional languages are a plus.
