We are currently looking for a Technical Sales Specialist Food & Beverage. This is a remote-based role, who will be responsible for the Central-Southern Italy.

Key responsibilities:

  • Growth and expansion of direct sales and profit margins within assigned accounts and territory, establishing professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts and meeting assigned targets for profitable sales volume and margin.

  • Market scouting and Key accounting with a focus on Food market, Soft drinks, Dairy, Olive oil markets.

  • Business planning and flanking with Agents and distributors.

Key requirements:

  • Degree in Food Technology is an advantage

  • at least 3 years technical and/or commercial experience in Food&Beverage or a similar business (Biotech, Pharmaceutical, Chemical...). Technical experiences in Food Industry processes and Filtration or equivalent experience is a big plus.

  • Proficient English is highly desireable

  • Flexibility to travel throughout Italy (approximately 40%-50%). Car driving license is required.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Customer focused – polite, responsive and persistent, able to build strong relationships

  • Strong negotiating skills and high level of Emotional intelligence

  • Very self-Motivated, strong time Management and Organisation skills

  • Focused and results oriented

  • Experience working in a matrix environment, Team work capability.
