Danaher Corporation Communications Specialist in Nashua, New Hampshire
This role supports all aspects of planning and execution for Pall internal communications—including internal communications to engage and align associates and drive business growth. The role’s primary responsibilities are to manage the Company’s intranet and other communication distribution channels, as well as to solicit feedback and track/report metrics.
Essential Job Functions
Owns and manages Corporate Communications intranet content, in partnership with IT.
Monitors, tracks and reports online/intranet metrics. Works to drive traffic and ensure all targets are met.
Participates as a member of the editorial planning board; supports all aspects of editorial calendar planning and execution.
Using AP style, drafts and/or proofreads and delivers communications using a variety of distribution channels.
Works to improve usage of Corporate Communications tools, such as internal social media site and intranet.
Supports Pall’s external social media efforts to promote Pall as an employer of choice.
Working with designers, conceptualizes design/layout, applying creative skillset.
Supports content development and handles content distribution for all business communications via designated vehicles (e.g., intranet, email, webcasts, video, surveys/polls)
Maintains and builds digital assets library. Fields all requests for assets or information.
Promotes two-way feedback between Pall and its target audiences; programs and delivers online surveys.
Partners with vendors (e.g., designers, writers, video producers) to deliver campaigns.
Minimal travel required 10% - 20%.
Three plus years of relevant communications work experience in a corporate or PR agency environment.
Bachelor’s degree in English Literature, Marketing or Communications.
Required skills include: understands corporate intranets – how they work and how to maximize engagement; writing and editing skills; writing for online content; ability to work collaboratively with business partners; project management & planning; editorial calendar management and communications planning. Online content management (SharePoint online) experience. Tracking success through metrics and reporting. High level experience in brand management. In-design experience preferred, but not required. The successful individual should be able to prioritize work.
