We have a fantastic career opportunity available for a Plant Manager in our Nederland, Texas facility.

The Plant Manager has responsibility for all aspects of the plant operation including P&L responsibility, inventory management, process improvement, safety, regulatory compliance and culture. This role oversees a management team of direct reports and ensures the development of all 25 associates within the facility.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage daily operations including shipping, receiving, manufacturing, inventory, and maintenance

  • Development and/or oversight of capital improvement projects, including budget and contractor management.

  • Collaborates with all functional areas within Operations, Human Resources, Sales, IT and Corporate organizations as needed

  • Regularly interface with the sales team to resolve inventory, production, or shipment issues and to ensure customer needs are consistently being met.

  • Continually drive efficiency and improvement within the operation

  • Ensure safety and efficiency of the facility

  • Test and monitor plant processes

  • Remain in compliance with facility ISO standards and all HSE guidelines

  • Prepare, analyze, and issue production and performance reports

  • Maintain all administrative records

  • Control costs to achieve company budget goals

    REQUIREMENTS:

  • 7-10 years of industrial m anagement/supervisory experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Lean manufacturing experience to include environmental and quality management related to hazardous waste operations, response, and material transportation regulations

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams

  • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement tools

  • Experience working in an ISO environment

  • Automation experience preferred
