Job Responsibilities:

  • Administers various human resource plans and procedures for associates and assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; maintains the associate handbook, Minnesota Wage and Theft documentation and other policies and procedures.

  • Manage the recruiting process for the Minnesota office of exempt and nonexempt associates and contingent workers; monitors candidate queues, forwards resumes to managers, sets up interviews; coordinates searches with Danaher recruiters when necessary

  • Serve as the benefits point of contact for the organization; provide annual open enrollment training; set up annual wellness screenings and flu shot clinic

  • Responsible for all on-boarding and new associate orientation activities for the Minnesota site

  • Provide associate and manager training on ADP timekeeping, Workday, benefit programs and assists with performance management and goal training and maintenance

  • Maintain and update status changes in the Workday system

  • Administer LOA process; meets with associates, provide necessary paperwork, and coordinate benefit payments; track time away and follow up return dates

  • Maintain all I-9 information, schedule and execute audits on a routine basis

  • Assist with employee relations issues

  • Coordinate all termination activities; prepare exit packets, sets up exit meetings for HRM

  • Creates, maintains and updates reporting through Workday and various other systems in response to HR initiatives

  • Partner with HR Operations Manager and management when necessary to respond to employee relations concerns

  • Participate in developing department goals, objectives and systems

  • Coordinate employee events; quarterly All Associate meetings, bi-annual employee appreciation events for the Minnesota site.

  • Assist our payroll partner with timekeeping entries for accuracy of hours worked, PTO, and sick time usage

  • Process and track garnishments

  • Process payroll reports and 401k funding after payroll upload

Must Have:

  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience within most areas of HR including administration, employee relations, payroll, talent management, performance management, business collaborating, compliance, health and safety, compensation & benefits.

  • Minimum BS/BA degree or equivalent preferably within HR, business administration, organizational psychology or similar

  • Extensive knowledge of federal and state labor laws Minnesota a must California is a plus

  • Proven record of coaching and business partnering experience to leaders on all levels of organization

Nice to Have:

  • Certification in Human Resource Management will be an asset

  • Experience working in a Lean culture will be an asset
