Position objective

  • Lead projects that support customer operations

Essential job functions

  • Critically evaluates information, reports, errors, and exceptions to identify and resolve account issues.

  • Performs root cause analysis to pro-actively communicate and collaborate with key business partners to drive operational excellence.

  • Interacts with internal business partners regarding various issues and provides any additional assistance.

  • Serves as an interface between Operations and the Customer Operations team.

  • Researches and resolves critical business partner and intensified customer questions, concerns, difficulties, inquiries and/or problems.

  • Provides follow up with other departments to ensure service standards are being met.

  • Set appropriate expectations; provides follow-through with timely and accurate responses via the most effective communication mode (email, letter, text message, phone, etc.).

  • Document and maintain Standard Operational Procedures material to capture standard methodologies.

  • Raise priority conflicts to management.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent (i.e. GED).

  • Prior experience in Operations Customer Service is an asset.

  • Prior experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Sales Operations is an asset.

  • Understanding and working knowledge of SAP or similar EAP system.

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.

  • Detailed proven understanding of MS Office (i.e. Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, etc.).

  • Be able to ‘break down barriers’ to achieve objectives.

  • Be able to influence key partners (internal and external).

Physical requirements

  • Required to lift-up to 35lbs

  • Lifting frequency; daily

  • Good eye and hand dexterity

  • Must be able to walk, bend, lift, sit, and stand for long periods of time

  • Must wear appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment) when in production areas

Other requirements

This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required. Any offer of employment is contingent upon Pall obtaining the necessary employment visa and export authorization, including, if required, an export license from the applicable U.S. government agency.
