Danaher Corporation Sheet Metal Fabricator II in New Port Richey, Florida

First shift schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM

Overtime and weekend work routine


The Sheet Metal Fabricator II produces product to specification requirements.


  • Setup machinery related to the area.

  • Produce and measure product to ensure compliance to blueprint and work instruction specifications.

  • Fabricate complex parts to blueprint and working instructions using various hand and power tools.

  • Operate shear, deburring equipment, brake press to produce components and custom fabrications.

  • Complete all required paperwork.

  • Communicate ideas, problems and concerns to management.

  • Work under the direction of supervisors, group leaders, team leaders or more experienced personnel with little supervision.

  • Perform related tasks as assigned.


  • High School Diploma or equivalent (i.e. GED).

  • One year of sheet metal fabrication experience on precision sheet metal parts preferred.

  • Must be able to utilize computer / computer applications to access.

  • Read and understand work instructions.

  • Understand and use all measuring equipment (calipers, height gage, etc.).

  • Fluent with shop math.

  • Basic knowledge of all processes and equipment in related areas.

  • Work overtime as needed.


  • Must pass visual acuity test.

  • Lifting up to 35 lbs. Frequency: daily.

  • Good eye and hand dexterity.

  • Ability to bend, lift, stand for extended periods of time.


  • Understand, follow and effectively communicate verbal and written instructions.

  • Attendance and punctuality is an essential part of this position.

  • A high level of ethics shall be maintained at all times.

  • A positive and professional attitude shall be maintained at all times.

  • Maintain a clean, neat and safe work area (5S).

  • Maintain high work quality and production standards and keep records.

  • Wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) while performing work tasks.


  • This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required. Any offer of employment is contingent upon Pall obtaining the necessary employment visa and export authorization, including, if required, an export license from the applicable U.S. government agency.

  • Must follow all environmental policies and procedures.

  • Perform preventative maintenance as required.
