Ready to tackle a new and significant position? Our newly crafted Supplier Value Analysis Value Engineer (VAVE) Agent is the role for you! This position will be responsible for establishing and driving improvements to product cost, quality and performance by utilizing Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) methodologies internally and externally for Pall Industrial Business Units globally.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Design, develop, execute, Pall External Supplier VAVE Program.

  • Tool management for all current molds and tooling for plastic and metal parts.

  • Support established internal Pall VAVE Program.

  • VAVE reporting on internal and external VAVE events.

  • Interact with the VAVE Business Unit Leads across the organization, planning and orchestrating supplier VAVE events in line with Palls VAVE Budgetary expectation.

  • Collaborate with the various business unit VAVE leaders, Engineering, Marketing, Operations teams, Finance Business partners, Sales teams, Strategic Sourcing Managers and external suppliers of Pall Products to collaboratively work on VAVE ideas to decrease Product Costs, reduce the number of Quality defects, increase operating margin expansion, Increase Capacity, to truly leverage Global VAVE runways.

  • Utilize the Danaher Business System VAVE and VPI Tools contained within the DBS Toolset to facilitate Kaizens and the Pall Strategic Sourcing Reporting tools (These include PPC, PPV, PVO & Power BI reports, as well as our ERP System SAP) to identify VAVE Targets for Supplier VAVE Events.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Design Engineering/ Procurement / Supply Chain. Relevant “hands on” experience without Degree also considered.

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with VAVE Programs, or similar product, design, and/or cost and/or value productivity increasing experience.

  • Shown experience leading VAVE events, or similar Kaizens/workshops.

  • Must have excellent facilitation skills.

  • Highly analytical around what drives product value for Pall and our customers.

  • Creative and critical around future Supply Chain designs.
