Are you a driven Compensation Analyst? Molecular Devices is looking for a highly motivated, dedicated, results-oriented Compensation & Commissions Analyst. This role will reside in the business unit and will work closely with HR. In this role you will be supporting the administration of the incentive compensation programs and will interact with business users and leaders at different levels. You will craft and coordinate sales incentive compensation programs, including long and short-term incentives, spot bonuses, and commissions that align with company objectives for recruiting, retention, and employee engagement. You will participate in incentive program trends and make recommendations. You will conduct research and analysis on market competitiveness and design and lead integrations with other applications with a focus on automation and efficiency of the overall compensation process. You will roll out reporting capabilities of the compensation tool to business and recommend improvements on the overall user engagement.

This position will report to Sr. Manger, Business Intelligence and is remote.

Job Duties:

  • Own Commission Payment Process for all Western Market (WM) Commissioned based Associates

  • Oversee commercial compensation policies and programs.

  • Analyze and interpret the company's commercial compensation programs.

  • Review a wide range of relevant compensation data to ensure the company's remuneration policies are competitive

  • Conduct annual and ad-hoc surveys, evaluate data integrity, summarize results, produce reports and present findings to decision makers

  • Compensation Forecasting for Commissions

  • Work with HR in handling salary structure creation and maintenance

  • Ensure company compliance with relevant laws and regulations.


  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or similar certification.

  • 2+ years of work experience as a Compensation Analyst.

  • Proficient with MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Proficient with compensation research and data analysis.

  • Strong problem-solving skills.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with CaptivateIQ tool

  • Experience with Power BI
