The Product Technical Support Director – Hematology and Urinalysis Business Unit for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for forming and deploying the Heme/UA BU long-term vision, product roadmap, and service solutions in response to customer demand.

This position is part of the Global Product Technical Support (GPTS) organization in Miami, Florida. In GPTS, we focus on future growth – defining and implementing a global support infrastructure for the Heme/UA products and servicing customer escalation coverage globally.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead and direct the Global Service & Support for the Heme/UA BU’s and ensure business performance and results consistent with the Global Service strategy

  • Structure standard work aligned with business priorities and Global Service & Commercial Service strategic direction

  • Maintain compliance to Quality System standards and sustain adherence to external agencies as part of Regulatory requirements, ISO, FDA, SFDA

  • Deploy the current Heme/UA BU product lifecycle and new product development roadmaps

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives, including all operational policies, goals, performance standards/metrics, and budgets

  • Apply broad diagnostic industry knowledge and commercial awareness to drive financial and operational performance

  • Drive knowledge expansion leveraging new learning technologies and re-purposing existing content to meet the growing demand of our global customers and service teams

The crucial requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 20+ years relevant functional experience OR Master's degree with 18+ years relevant functional experience

  • 6+ years leadership experience

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Service Technical Equipment experience
