Danaher Corporation Document Control Technician (Intern) in New York, New York
The Document Control Technician Intern will work with the Engineering Systems team to review, prepare, and transpose engineering data and process information from multiple databases into Windchill PLM.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Review, prepare, and transpose technical data and workflows from legacy Lotus Notes and other data repositories and sources into Windchill Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system
Review legacy and migrated data and workflows to ensure quality and data integrity
Communicate and collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations to resolve data issues or concerns
Currently enrolled and perusing Associate or Bachelor degree in engineering, manufacturing, and or business-related field.
Experience managing and organizing digital technical data and records
Basic Understanding of document change management processes and workflows, desired
Basic Understanding of product design and manufacturing, desired
Working experience with Windchill PLM, SmarTeam, or Lotus Notes., desired
Working knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required. Any offer of employment is contingent upon Pall obtaining the necessary employment visa and export authorization, including, if required, an export license from the applicable U.S. government agency.
Fluent in English, other languages considered a plus.
Ability to work remotely in compliance with Pall Corporation’s policies and guidelines. Comfortable interacting and communicating virtually via MS Teams and other digital tools.
Provides an elevated level of customer focus and genuinely displays a positive working attitude.
Willingness to learn and collaborate ideas in the spirit of continuous improvement.
High personal accountability with ability to work autonomously and manage time appropriately with minimal supervision.
