The Portfolio Development manager will work closely with the CTO senior team, Sr. Leadership and Pall Industrial Business Unit commercial, technical and R&D teams to coordinate and handle partner needs, prioritize daily management, and report on progress against the PMO’s annual goals. This will require cultivating partnerships, leading workgroups, and mentoring fellow leaders across departmental boundaries to deploy the different workshops and training. This role will ensure that opportunities are aligned to the PMO’s strategy for growth and that projects are managed in accordance with Danaher standard methodologies. This position will report to the Sr Director PMO for Pall Industrial.
Work with cross functional BU teams to explain, create and respond to Innovation Engine needs
Lead the execution of the various Danaher Business System (DBS ) Toolkit Kaizens and workshops
handle, steer, and lead DBS Toolkit installations and workshops to assure synchronization between BU plan and DHR Innovation Engine goals
Assist with identification of the different DBS tools needed based on where projects are within the NPD toll gate process
Provide facilitation and coaching for teams on the DBS tools
Serve as point of contact for project managers to accelerate and help handle project hurdles
Coordinate resource planning, toolkit prep and deliverables, ensuring that our internal customers commitments are met.
Oversee the successful transition of the DBS Toolkits from the PMO to facilitation teams within the BUs
Current and extensive experience in portfolio management and PMO (Project Management Office) including implementation and leadership.
Practiced and sound understanding of Lean Manufacturing / Lean Six Sigma continuous process improvement methodologies. DBS (Danaher Business System ) tools and principles is preferred
Exceptional organization and interpersonal skills within an industrial / R&D environment
Position can be performed remotely but prefer near one of manufacturing sites in the NE United Sates.
