X-Rite is seeking a Product Manager that will be responsible to drive profitable growth based on conceptualizing, developing, launching, and managing the X-Rite Lighting solutions. This role can be based at X-Rite's global headquarters in Grand Rapids, Michigan or remote - anywhere in the US or Europe.
Your responsibilities as a Product Manager at X-Rite, include:
New Product Development
Collect, analyze, and interpret voice of the customer and market data to gain winning insights into new product opportunities and requirements for lighting solutions.
Partner with relevant functions, especially X-Rite’s commercial and R&D teams, to manage speed-to-market, development costs, quality, and risk. Lead new product development projects from ideation, through project approval and development, to launch and commercialization. A key success factor is the ability design and execute the future of LED lighting within X-Rite’s key markets and its product portfolio.
Own the product launch process ensuring total customer satisfaction. Develop and deploy new product training for internal and external stakeholders and partners, so they can market, sell, and support the product from day one.
Ensure X-Rite’s lighting portfolio roadmaps meets the most valuable problems found in the markets we serve.
Maximize X-Rite’s reoccurring service footprint while that incorporates a next generation of LED light sources.
Product Line Health
Develop pricing, revenue, and gross margin forecasts based on market sizing and customer value. Manage monthly reporting and/or corrective actions.
Engage on a day-to-day basis with the X-Rite sales and marketing teams to deliver category growth.
Manage revenue forecasting accuracy, product gross margin, and quality metrics. Provide Production, Inventory Sales (PSI) for production planning. Present performance KPIs results to senior leadership for review and action.
Perform regular product-line reviews and problem-solving initiatives to identify and correct gaps to plan.

Your Education and/or Background Experience will include:
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field
5+ years of product management experience, preferably within a comparable industry managing lighting products.
A strong work ethic and willingness to “go above and beyond”; bringing a passionate and positive approach to delivering results and encouraging teamwork.
Superior communication and negotiation skills. Able to lead, influence, and gain consensus / “followership” without formal authority.
Willingness to travel, both domestically and internationally (20%). Ability to frequently meet colleagues digitally in different time zones (West Coast of US if EU based; CET time zones in US-based).
