The Senior Manager, Corporate Compensation is responsible for leading a broad-based compensation team with focused effort on governance and infrastructure to support enterprise-wide career framework and compensation structures. The position will have accountability for the Company’s market compensation systems and downstream impact to compensation integrated processes such as Workday. In addition, this position will assist with various other corporate compensation projects and initiatives.

This position is part of the Corporate Compensation team and will be located in USA remote with preference in Washington DC area.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Manage ongoing maintenance and governance of global job level structure/architecture for the Company. Strengthen governance policy and process for changes in job profiles, job levels/families. Lead the council and project work to assess gaps and develop solutions to address job leveling issues.

  • Oversee compensation structure review and market alignment project:

  • Manage oversight of compensation survey portfolio and the annual compensation survey participation process

  • Act as thought leader for market pricing methodology.

  • Collaborate with the Platform and OpCo compensation teams by keeping them informed on evolving market trends and helping guide them through compensation issues related to job leveling and market data.

  • Maintain relationships with the Company’s external partners supporting our compensation data requirements, including MarketPay, the Aon Hewitt co-sourcing team, and the various compensation survey vendors.

  • Assess annual incentive targets globally and oversee incentive plan initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for compensation related matters, such as FLSA and pay legislation, and adherence to plan provisions and compensation policies.

  • Support the annual comp planning cycle day to day activities from a functional perspective in collaboration with the Workday IT and Operations team.

  • Establish process excellence via Danaher Business System tools/processes and through the use of technology and standard work.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • BA/BS in related field; an MBA is preferred.

  • 10+ years of experience in global compensation with an emphasis on creating, developing and managing global compensation programs that facilitate business results.

  • Advanced knowledge of job evaluation methodologies, salary structure design, and merit planning design and implementation.

  • Experience in the development and delivery technology solutions that enable and enhance the execution of a corporation’s global compensation program; specific experience with Workday a plus.

  • Strong technical knowledge and hands on experience with base and variable pay programs and equity/long-term incentive compensation in various industries.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and data management.

  • Experience with M&A due diligence and integration.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Strong project management acumen and experience; experience in professional services/consulting preferred. Sales incentive plan experience a plus.

The salary range for this role is $160,000 to $200,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
