The Senior Staff Project Manager for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for ensuring customer and organizational value resulting from individual and Team contribution as well as improvement of service systems, business processes and application of best practice techniques globally.
This position is part of the Global Service Quality Team and will be fully remote (US based). At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.
You will be a part of the Global Service Operations Organization and report to the Global Service Quality Sr Manager responsible for compliantly enabling a global, world class customer support organization . In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Define meaningful strategies, build efficient processes, and deliver innovative solutions and insights as a partner to all parts of the Service and Support team.
Drive proficiency in Service and Service Quality processes of customer supporting activities through various improvements and Team collaboration.
Challenge status quo through process gap identification, innovative development and sustainable implementation.
Define cross-functional robust problem statements, perform detailed investigations relating to multiple functional areas and business processes
Implement new cross-functional solutions and processes, inclusive of stakeholder alignment, broad communication cascades, and ensuring full adoption and ongoing sustainment
Support Quality Audit activity, including document prep and pre-review as well as direct interface and response with Auditors incorporating a professional demeanor and presence.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s degree with 14+ years of experience OR Master’s/Doctoral degree with 12+ years of experience AND Related experience includes 4+ years managing projects
Extensive experience with CAPA, Quality Systems and Audit Support in a highly regulated environment
Extensive experience with Field Service and Support, may include Technical Engineering, Call Center, Field Service Engineering
Metrics oriented continuous process improvement experience such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen
Excellent people and project management skill set - responsible for timeline, deliverables
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Flexibility to manage global communication requirements and some travel (10-15%)
Proven understanding of complex global data systems in a medical device environment
Global and or large scale Project Management experience
Strong strategic, innovative and analytical thinking skills
