In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Analyze and model data to draw analyses and conclusions, and make recommendations to commercial leadership teams, including providing KPI dashboards, visual representation, and management presentations.

  • Partner with the training team to ensure design and execution of high impact and effective sales trainings, working closely with sales leadership and product management for new product launches and sales meetings.

  • Manage customer contract strategy and processing including T&C’s, pricing tier compliance and adherence, and support sales leadership to coach sellers to achieve sales results.

  • Design and implement sales incentive planes and ensure monitoring of financial exposure and payouts, in partnership with Sales Leadership, Product Management, and Finance to deliver desired performance within annual budget.

  • Determine sales enabling technologies in support of sales organization productivity, growth, engagement, and attrition.

  • Lead territory planning and Salesforce alignment strategies to optimize field sales resources to increase sales productivity by using assessment tools and third-parting consultants where appropriate.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

  • 7+ years leading dynamic and diverse teams in a Service or Commercial function, including managing people leaders and global partners.

  • 10+ years experience within a Service or Commercial Organization.

  • Demonstrated experience with proven process improvement and change management skills, experience in DBS participation and leadership a plus.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Advanced Degree (Master’s Degree, MBA, or PhD) in Science, Engineering, or Business.

  • 15+ years in customer-facing roles in Service or Commercial organizations.

  • Prior experience in life sciences or biotechnology industry, especially genomics.

  • Experience with dynamic pricing models, legal contracts, and global regulation and compliance.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in time and project management

  • Demonstrated proficiency applying lean principles in a variety of situations

The salary range for this role is $140,000 - $170,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
