The Senior Marketing Manager-Corporate Account for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for building the commercial strategy by bringing together a cross-functional, cross-portfolio team of colleagues and external vendors. Demonstrating the Beckman Coulter value proposition, you can make our suite of products appeal to the core lab; as well as the executive management of the hospital network. We support both strategic and tactical marketing programs, which will be significant to meet our short/long-term objectives of improving market access and sales performance.
This position is an integral part of the NACO marketing team. It is a remote role that travels 30% to 40% domestically. If you thrive in a multifunctional, results-oriented, creative role and want to work to build a world-class marketing organization—read on!
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Build a comprehensive marketing plan to support Beckman Coulter’s commercial objectives that lead to driven wins and increased market share within Corporate Accounts. (IDNs, Commercial Labs, Veterinary, Commercial labs, Blood Donor Centers, GPO, Distribution Sales)
Map out the buying process of Health Systems, GPOs, and customers who are purchasing through the distribution channel as it relates to clinical laboratory products by conducting VOC.
Build marketing programs and customer facing tools targeting C-Suite, key partners: including committee members, executives, Clinical IT, procurement, medical directors
Identify forward thinking market trends and anticipate customer needs to craft the future of clinical laboratory. Utilize primary and secondary market research methodologies to identify market opportunities for growth and take action by crafting solutions that meet customer needs today and in the future.
Develop training content and facilitate training programs for Corporate Account sales leadership and associates.
Establish and maintain appropriate systems and mechanisms to maximize competitive advantage and improve the organization’s understanding of our competitors.
Identify and collaborate with KOLs to build evidence-based materials (white papers, presentations, articles) that positions as a leader within the IVD market space.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s Degree required with a minimum 14+ years of experience in related field (i.e. sales, national accounts, national accounts marketing, and sales training); or Masters with 12+ years of experience; or Doctoral with 9+ years of experience
Experience in the US diagnostic / IVD industry that are marketed and sold into US healthcare systems, GPOs, and in the distribution channel
Experience in a matrixed organization with extensive knowledge of the principal areas and roles of Marketing, Sales, Service, Finance, Contracting, and Business Development.
Proven project management, problem solving, and analytical skills
Willingness to travel 30-40% of the time
