Are you ready to take your career to the next level? Phenomenex is hiring! We are seeking a technical, highly analytical individual with a background in Life Sciences to be a Technical Sales Consultant!
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Originate phone calls, respond to incoming calls and provide technical information with regards to chromatography related products and services
Ensure that assigned territory meets sales, gross profit, and unit goals
Develop relationships with new and existing customers
Attend vendor shows & company sponsored trade shows
Develop business plans, market analysis and sales strategies for assigned territory
Consistently maintain a positive demeanor, be a team player and strive to learn and contribute to company culture
Maintain information in customer database system
Bachelor's Degree in Life Science required
Requires analytical thinking
Skilled in the art of negotiation
Strong organizational skill, plans and assigns resources in a detailed fashion
Experience in Database Management (CRM) preferred
At least two (2) years of experience in Sales is preferred
Biopharma experience is preferred
