Danaher Corporation Training Program Manager in New York, New York
The Customer Care Global Learning and Development team is looking for an experienced Training Program Manager who can manage global training projects and initiatives affecting all of Customer Care. In this critical new role you will be responsible for empowering associates globally with the skills they need to excel in their role within Customer Care. This includes providing training in person or through eLearning which would incorporate servicing videos and graphics in PowerPoint presentations as well as in eLearning accessed through Cepheid’s Learning Management System. You will coordinate with instructional designers, stakeholders, subject matter experts, and Customer Care Senior Leadership to understand the objectives of a training request or program. You will be responsible for tracking all incoming requests, helping in the analysis of business criticality, ensuring communication, and developing and maintaining project schedules. Metrics on learning effectiveness and program KPIs such as on the Customer Care Immersion program will be established and maintained by the Training Program Manager.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate, consult, and communicate with instructional designers, Subject Matter Experts, and stakeholders on Customer Care training requests.
Maintain tracking system on training requests ensuring accuracy on schedule, milestones, and communication via coordination with assigned instructional designers.
Develop and maintain a Visual Project Management system for training projects clearly identifying the resources, milestones, and timeframes for each phase of a project.
Coordinate a global training calendar across all training areas impacting Customer Care. This may include regional specific training, Danaher Business Systems training, and role specific training.
Develop metrics dashboards of Customer Care Learning projects. These will be used to monitor learning effectiveness, areas of improvement, and responsiveness on training requests.
Interact with the Customer Care Compliance team to ensure training record compliance to meet Quality standards.
Participate in the engagement of new learning approaches and tools for developing training such as gamification, coaching, and VR\AR. This may involve developing new project templates and stakeholder expectations for these new delivery modalities.
Prepare and deliver Customer Care associate and senior leadership presentations on key training initiatives.
Education or Experience (in years):
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a Business or Program Management or related field
8+ years of managing and representing complex training programs in a biomedical device or pharmaceutical industry
Knowledge and skills:
Proven experience with program management in a fast-paced dynamic training development environment.
Experience creating and maintaining project schedules using Waterfall, Agile, or LEAN methodologies.
Experience working in person and remotely with instructional designers, technical subject matter experts, and senior leadership.
Ability to organize, prioritize, and analyze critical tasks
Proven effective communicator (speaking, writing), and able to work effectively with cross-functional and senior-leadership teams
Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced, metric-driven environment
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS (optional):
Preference given to candidates with medical device equipment or corporate training project management experience.
Previous experience with training content tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, or TechSmith Camtasia.
