Due to a promotion, Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is looking for their next VP Global Talent Management that can be based remotely within the U.S. (ideally within Pacific or Mountain time zones or within the Mid-West)! This role will own the development and execution of talent strategies to support our business growth and strategic priorities while ensuring a strong pipeline of diverse talent and people leaders that will be integral in achieving our ambitious growth and innovation plans. This VP will also lead a recently expanded team of program managers for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), learning and development, and talent generalists to ensure focused development of talent at all levels of the organization.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Create a vision for the talent management function that balances execution of the Danaher programs and processes that strengthen and diversify our talent pipeline

  • Understand the business direction and priorities to identify talent needs, barriers and opportunities

  • Remain abreast of the external environment and talent space to identify evolving trends and research related to evolving work, workforce, and workplace shifts

  • Partner with leadership and global HR leadership team understand business priorities, customer needs, and capability gaps using Danaher Business System (DBS)

  • Ensure strong execution of cyclical talent processes (performance management, development planning, organization talent assessment)

  • Provide leadership of annual engagement and quarterly pulse survey, in partnership with executive team, ensured focus execution of engagement action plans

  • Through data analysis and internal stakeholder insights, develop learning & development strategy, leveraging Danaher programs while also creating unique solutions to address specific capability gaps or leadership development needs

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • 20+ Years in Human Resources (HR) with 10+ years in Talent Management (can include L&D, DEI)

  • 5+ years in a HR generalist capacity

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Organizational Psychology or Organizational Behavior (preferred)

  • Needs analysis and consulting

  • Analytical skills

  • Verbal and visual communication skills

  • Design for the future

  • Collaboration, co-creation, and influence

  • Execution orientation

Travel: Varied and could be as much as 30%
