This position is located onsite at our Newark, CA facility.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinates master schedules for production and new product, ensuring comprehensive compliance with materials requirements for manufacturing. Incorporate in forecasts and master production schedules.

  • Ability to effectively facilitate both operational level meetings such daily production meeting and executive/strategic level meetings.

  • Ensure optimized schedules to ensure maximum production uptime

  • Extensive SAP experience with production schedules, production orders, materials and BOM/Routes

  • Manage Inventory targets, report out on metrics in monthly in OP's meetings.

  • Active partner in daily morning production management meetings

  • Ensure End-to-End supply chain processes are supporting customer and business needs.

  • Implement process improvements to decrease overall costs and improve inventory management and supply chain efficiencies.

  • Ability to translate analytics to implications, action, and strategy through influence and presentation.

  • Able to develop, coach and mentor talent. Focus on elevating people and organizations capabilities.

  • Provides analyses and using judgement driving concise communication with senior leaders to highlight issues and solutions

  • Works to resolve (in case of design changes) labor and material shortages, backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions.

  • Engages with engineering plans and production constrains to establish production schedules, labor loading, and capacity requirements.

  • Develops rough-cut capacity plans to analyze and negotiate resource requirements.

  • Lead all aspects of the process for developing an executable master production schedule in accordance with shelf life and inventory guidelines.

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering or related field. MBA preferred.

  • 6+ years of Supply Chain environment or related fields.

  • Strong understanding of the linkages in supply chain from demand through shipment to customer

  • APICS certification is preferred

  • Experience with SOP's, MES, and ERP strong benefit

  • Strong Microsoft Word and Excel sills. SQL and Visio experience valued.

  • Deployment of Value Stream Mapping

  • Lean certification or experience of daily Mgt, Standard Work, Kaizen’s around Problem Solving/ std work, Value stream, Heijunka, and Gemba preferred
