Job Summary:

The Commercial Operations CRM Manager takes charge of Salesforce’s (SFDC) design and implementation of Aldevron’s new CRM management tool, by creating new ways to optimize and improve the commercial workflows and take full advantage of the Salesforce potential. This role is responsible for business process improvements, continuous development based upon users' needs and feedback, acquisition integrations, new feature development implementation, roll out and sustainment, managing and feeding the SFDC project roadmap, and driving user adoption by driving best practices, sharing insight on benefits, and providing proper training to show others how efficient and effective their sales role is when using Salesforce.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, define, and manage Salesforce.com projects and their requirements, including documentation and training.

  • Evaluate existing, and future Salesforce release features for business benefit and prescribe rollout plans, including socialization, training, communication, requirements documentation, testing, and release management.

  • Own and execute consistent data cleaning practices to ensure accurate data entry from CRM integrations and foster a strong sense of data integrity and cleanliness amongst users.

  • Manage all SFDC workflows, dashboards, and processes for the commercial organization.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues.

  • Train commercial associates and other commercials leaders on using SFDC as required in support of Sr. Manager of Commercial Operations & Training to help expand knowledge and adoption of Salesforce’s capabilities.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with critical strategic commercial leaders, executive staff, peers, and internal customers to ensure all projects are globally driven and continuously improve the seller experience.

  • Support and drive SFDC projects and small to large CRM improvement requirements, including documentation of business requirements, solution and technical design, test plan design, and coordination of testing with business users.

  • Provide first-level support to the field, including issue identification and resolution/escalation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required

  • Salesforce Certifications preferred (Administrator, CPQ, App Builder,… )

  • 3-5 years of direct Salesforce experience required, SFDC reporting experience preferred.

  • Previous sales or commercial operations experience preferred.

  • CRM-related project management experience required.
