Danaher Corporation IVDR Sustainment Manager in Newcastle Upon Tyne, United Kingdom

Position Summary and Overview

Management of the IVDR Sustainment team to ensure continued compliance of Leica Biosystems products to IVDR regulations.

Major Responsibilities

  • Responsible for management of the IVDR sustainment team and their performance to targets.

  • Defines and optomises processes involved in IVDR sustainment, aims to reduce process waste.

  • Creates and maintains a schedule for quality document review and updates where required.

  • Ensure all projects are managed using the appropriate business processes, to meet project objectives, timescales and budgets.

  • To manage multiple stakeholders throughout the business to ensure they are informed and consulted as appropriate.

  • Work within the Newcastle Quality Management System to ensure activities are carried out through the Change Management, Non-Conformance and CAPA Processes.

  • Lead, follow and support the deployment of DBS tools to continuously improve the processes at the Newcastle Site

  • Coaches and mentors, builds capability within the team by coaching others to solve complex problems.

  • Provide so far as is reasonably practicable a healthy and safe workplace for employees, contractors and visitors

  • Support best practice safety performance levels and ensure business complies with all relevant EHS regulations

  • Be actively involved in Workplace Inspections and Near Miss and Incident reporting

Required Skills/Experience/Education

  • Strong leadership skills and people management skills

  • Proven and demonstrable experience in project management

  • Experience of working in a regulated environment

  • Scientific/quality background preferable
