We are looking for an exceptional finance professional who will be responsible for supporting the senior leadership team and the wider business, reporting directly to the FP&A Director. In this role, they will assist the FP&A Director in forecasting, budgeting, and reporting alongside process improvements to enable a cost focused culture.
In this role, you’ll
Business controller for all global support function leaders, drive projects/investments and cost analysis and help in process improvement
Bring strong financial stability through closing process, internal controls, cost discipline and forecasting accuracy
Develop, implement and maintain a more accurate cost management and headcount reporting and controls process across all Corporate functions
Interact with other managers to provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial and management information analyses, reports and recommendations
Work with finance teams locally to ensure FC accuracy across all global functions and month end reviews to ensure all spend accurately reported
Deploy targets and proactively work with stakeholders across the business to ensure risks are identified and properly counter measured
Have significant input into LBS budget, forecasting and actual reporting processes including all related deliverables.
Ensure that all Danaher Corporate request and deadlines are followed across LBS
Conduct special analysis and projects for the Corporate Finance team as they arise and work to harmonize processes globally.
Support continuous improvements in all areas of the FP&A team and reporting
Develop, implement and maintain accounting and administrative policies and procedures for a wide-ranging set of activities including financial accounting and reporting and other corporate policies
What you’ll need to do the job
UK qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA)
3-5 years post qualified relevant experience
Experienced in Reporting, Forecasting and Consolidation processes
Track record of success and progression within the Finance function, especially in the areas of financial control, cost management, financial planning and forecasting, system & process improvement
Experienced in working in an international environment.
Experience of working in a US organization and/or matrix structured business would be beneficial
