Danaher Corporation Commercial Product Manager - OEM in Nottingham, United Kingdom
We’re looking for a Commercial Product Manager to join our team, this position can either be based remotely from home or based from our site in Newcastle.
In this position you will be responsible for the growth and support of our Antibody OEM business. You'll be responsible for managing the commercial relationship with our OEM customers, ensuring their expectations are met regarding delivery, quality and technical support. They will be encouraged to grow the OEM revenues by encouraging new customers and growing the product offering to our existing customers, whilst actively managing the product life-cycle (including phase out of obsolete products) of the Reagents supplied to OEM customers.
In this role, you’ll
Responsibility/accountability for the global OEM business of all Staining reagents (IHC & Molecular)
Own the maintenance and growth of our OEM reagent product portfolio and customer base.
Manage products throughout their lifecycle to ensure active products remain commercially viable, launch new products to the OEM customer base and perform orderly run-out of old or obsolete products
Drive direct B2B marketing activities to improve product revenues and margins.
Develops product portfolio strategies including pricing, competition, market conditions, etc.
Maximise our Primary Antibody & Probe road map to build long term partnerships and expansion of each customer’s spend.
Act as the advocate for the OEM customers to ensure all customer service-related matters (supply lead-time, quality/complaint handling, invoicing etc.) are handled at an appropriate standard that encourages customers to continue to source their reagents from LBS.
Engage with the Newcastle and Amsterdam Operations teams to facilitate on-time and in-spec order delivery.
Work with R&D on new product line extensions where needed.
Manage the custom OEM process from conceptualisation and project management with key partners through to delivery.
What you’ll need to do the job
Graduate or post-graduate qualifications in business or science (Medical Science or Biology)
Experience in Medical Diagnostics Sales and Product Management experience
Experience in Biomedical industry, Medical Device or Cancer Diagnostics industry preferred
Strong work ethic
Commitment to own commercial results through excellent customer service
Ability to function in ambiguity with minimal direction
Sound judgement with ability to balance big picture thinking and appropriate attention to detail, with a risk management focus
Critical thinking and analytical abilities
Exceptional negotiation skills
