Job Summary :
Molecular Devices is seeking to hire an Imaging Sales Specialists dedicated to the ImageXpress Pico high content imaging system. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team responsible for driving revenue by accelerating research in collaborator’s imaging laboratories.
Achieve North America goals & targets, via proficient closing of Pico imaging business
Perform instrument and software demonstrations for customers onsite and remotely
Execute effective lead generation in diverse life science markets
Maintain an up-to-date customer database in Salesforce.com resulting in a ccurate forecasting
Balance growth via direct and robust distribution channel s
Call Points: P harma, biotech, academia, and other life sciences institutes.
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a related Life Sciences discipline.
A minimum of 2 years of field sales experience selling into the life science or drug discovery industry
Must be willing to travel up to 50% - 75% under certain circumstances
Knowledge of Cellular Imaging/ Microscopy technology is the ideal candidate we need for this role.
Experience with Microsoft applications, Salesforce.com, CRM Database or similar
Track record of successful Capital Equipment sales/customer facing experience.
