The Program Manager (f/m/d) for Leica Biosystems is responsible to deliver new or current business projects (complicated instrument / workstation / dedicated consumables) according to defined timeline, scope, cost and quality targets as leader of a global project team.
This position is part of the Program Management team located in Nussloch/Heidelberg and will be on-site. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Deliver development projects or major design changes within timeline, budget and quality constraints while meeting scope, quality system requirements / compliance rules
Roll out product portfolio strategy and roadmap planning into project initiation, incl. project definition according to process, propose team wheel, and initiate project budget plan to ensure projects are kicked off according to plan
Create and maintain top level development plan according to planning progress, align development with cross functional dependencies and project risk
Follows up with team members to assure deliverables are completed on time. Offer assistance in clearing away obstacles
Facilitating team meetings and workshops uses DBS tools if appropriate to achieve constructive outcomes.
Delivers on the key metrics of the project (cost, schedule, performance)
The essential requirements of the job include:
Education in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or even in BioMechanics would be a plus
Experienced in Program Management and Project Management
Process and Manufacturing experienced
Fluent in English is a must, German on a conversational level
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Identify, track and mitigate actively on key risks
regulatory standards (FDA; ISO 13485)
