Danaher Corporation Finished Goods Planner I in O'Callaghan Mills, Ireland
At Beckman Coulter we have a number of opportunities for Finished Goods Planners to join our team. These positions will be based at our Co.Clare facility, and will have primary responsibility for the management of EMEAI products. Responsibilities will involve managing inventory for all manufactured and purchased finished goods in warehouses throughout Europe within the EMEAI Finished Goods Planning organisation.

The main responsibilities of this role will include:
Retrieving ordering signals from the MRP system
Building internal requisitions to source materials from source warehouses
Tracking progress and status, expediting closure of complaint investigations for urgent or critical complaints;
Leading all existing product pricing and quality/timely delivery (OTD), continuously looking to improve profitability of current products, and rationalization of product line/pricing to drive portfolio profitability, running stock levels to increase speed of delivery to customers and holding optimal stock levels Available To Order, Made To Order (ATO/MTO) and devising strategies to reduce stock levels when a surplus is identified.
Regularly review stock levels and take necessary action during periods of constrained supply
Working regularly with world-wide planners to communicate and understand outages or late supply
Adjust Oracle attributes based on incoming demand signals from demand planners
Meeting inventory targets & continuously review stocking policies to reduce inventory levels
Manage supply of finished goods items at all EU warehouses for customer and internal orders
Follow all existing standard procedures for inventory management
Support Planning/CI projects as assigned by manager
Honours Bachelor’s degree (Level 8) in field with at least with 1-2 year’s relevant experience
APICS Certification is desirable
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a methodical and accurate manner.
Experience of working in an MRP/MPS environment.
Ability to use Oracle Software would be an advantage
