The Manufacturing / Process Engineer for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics will determine the optimal manufacturing methods and processes for producing company products from start-up, building the product line, through satisfactory production.
This position is part of our Manufacturing Organisation located on-site at our Co.Clare facility. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time. Role is onsite.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Provide Engineering support to the operations Value Stream and related equipment from introduction / validation thru to daily running and process improvement.
Continuous improvement of production and output with ownership of associated projects including relevant documentation updates.
Work closely with the validation group to initiate, generate and execute validations to support the introduction of new products, process and equipment
Utilize structured problem solving process PSP / DIVE to troubleshoot new products / process / equipment issues, working closely with cross functional team and/or external vendors.
Develop and use visual project management and daily management boards to drive standard work and identify opportunities for improvements.
Evaluate in conjunction with EHS new equipment/processes for environmental impact/effect to eliminate or lessen such impacts/effects.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Honours Level 8).
3+ Years engineering experience in an industrial environment.
Experience in Quality assurance, cGMP / FDA QSR / ISO regulations. ISO13485 experience is highly desirable.
Strong problem-solving experience with using PSP tools, experience in leading projects.
Valid driving license + own car.
